5. You Know Where Your Vegetables Have Been
Do you know where those vegetables have been that you buy from stores? Nope. For all you know, they could have been right in the middle of something gross – but they’re not going to tell you this. Think of all the germs that are on them from sitting in the store with all the people passing by. For this reason, I believe it is much better to grow a vegetable garden at home.
4. Gives You Something to do
When you have time on your hands and need something to do, then the vegetable garden is there for you. You need to water it, pull weeds and take care of it. The vegetable garden will make sure you are not bored.
3. You Can Teach the Children about It
If you have children or grandchildren, then growing a garden will teach them. The child will get to learn many things from your garden.
2. You save Money
That’s right, you will be saving money. You will not have to go out and buy any cucumbers or carrots this year, because you grew them. You can grow a lot of things, depending on where you are and the time of the year it is. If you’re smart with it, you could grow vegetables all year long.
1. It’s Fun
I must conclude that growing vegetable gardens is fun. I can’t see how anyone would think that it is not fun.
That’s my 5 reasons to grow a vegetable garden. Now, I want you to give me 2 reasons to grow one.
