5. Dragonflies Fly Fast

Did you know that dragonflies can fly up to twenty miles per hour? I know, that may not sound like much to you, when you’re driving a car, but they are fast!

3. Herb Seeds

Did you know that herbal seeds have been found dating way back into the pre-historic cave dwelling days? They were as old as 500,000 years old. This means that our ancestors got the chance to enjoy some herbs and use them as remedies.

2. Listen to a Cricket to Tell the Temp

By listening to a cricket, you can tell the temperature outside. In 15 seconds, if you count the number of chirps it makes, then add 27 to it, that would be close to the temp in Fahrenheit.

The world’s biggest flower measured up to three feet across and has weighed in at fifteen pounds. Wo1! This is the Rafflesia Arnoldi and it grows in the rainforests in Indonesia. It uses a host plant in order to gather the nutrients and water it needs. It has odor much like rotting meat.

These 5 facts on gardening definitely caught my attention. My friend gave me the idea to write this blog, because she always writes facts on stuff. I think I would like to do this more often. What do you think?
