Both bell peppers and hot peppers are very easy to grow. In fact, they are very similar to tomatoes. They do not require much care aside from a stake to hold the stalks that support the pepper. Bell peppers turn from green to red as they ripen, and require a long, hot growing season. If you live in a colder climate, your peppers may not fully ripen. However, if you like green peppers that should not be a problem. When you grow peppers, you will end up with such a large amount you may not know what to do with them. I always roast extra peppers, peel the skin off, and freeze them to use later.
