# 5 Benefits of Having a Garden ...

Flowers – we can’t live without them! Literally, speaking. You don’t have a garden in your yard? That’s no good. Trying to figure out why you should have a garden? Below, I am going to give you 5 benefits of having a garden.

## 5. It’s Beautiful

It’s beautiful! Should I have to say any more than this? If you love flowers, then you know what I mean. I also love the smell that flowers put off when they are in full bloom.

## 4. It Gives Your Yard a Hint of Nature

I love how it gives my yard that natural look. If you go all out, then it will really give your yard a hint of nature by looking like you are in the middle of a flower field.

## 3. It Draws Wildlife

I like how it draws wildlife my way. I love to watch the little birds and squirrels peck around in the garden. I even added a bird house and a bird bath in the garden.

## 2. It’s Peaceful

Did I mention that gardens are peaceful? If you have a patio garden, then this is a great place to go to in order to relax. This is why you find hammocks in people’s gardens – because it’s peaceful.

## 1. It Makes Your Yard Look Nice

If I did not have a garden in my yard, then I do not know what I would do. It would look so plain and I do not like plain. Gardens really add something to the yard and makes the outside of the home look much better.

Those are 5 benefits to having a garden. It’s beautiful, it brings nature to your yard, draws wildlife, it’s peaceful and it makes your yard look nice. Plus, it brings sweet smells to your yard. Why do you like having a garden in your yard?
