Personally, I prefer growing my own vegetables over going to the store and buying them. Why is this? Well, I can think of 5 reasons to grow your own vegetables and here they are:
5. Fresh Vegetables to Eat
One of the main reasons to grow your own vegetables would be the fact that you will always have fresh vegetables to munch on. Nothing beats going out into your yard, picking some squash and cooking it. Nothing gets more fresher than this.
When you grow your own vegetables, you do not have to worry about pesticides on them, unless you use pesticides yourself. You will know for a fact where those veggies have been and who touched them.
3. They Taste Good
Another reason to grow your own vegetables would be because they taste good. Vegetables are good for you and if it takes growing them for you to eat them, then so be it.
2. You save Money
Yes, when you grow your own vegetables, you will be saving money. You will no longer have to go to the store and pay top dollar for vegetables. All you have to do is go out into your yard and harvest them.
1. Something to do
When you grow your own vegetables, you will not have a boring day. There will always be something for you to do around your yard.
Those are only 5 reasons to grow your own vegetables. I can think of many other reasons. What about you?
